Root Micromax A57 Ninja 3

Micromax A57 aka the Ninja 3 is an amazing device in it’s price range. It features a 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen with a primary camera of 3 MP. This is powered by a 1 Ghz Qualcomm processor and 256 MB of RAM. No other phone is anywhere near to this price range and provides this many features.

In this guide I will show you how you can easily Root Micromax A57 Ninja 3 just within 15 minutes maximum.

Downloads

You will need to download 2 things. One is the Drivers for your phone and other is the software which will be used for rooting.

Download A57 Drivers

Download UnlockRoot

Download UnlockRoot

Now that you have download the required things you can proceed to the next steps i.e procedure to Root Micromax A57 Ninja 3.

Procedure

  • Make sure you are doing this on Windows.
  • Move the .android folder to the C:\Users\<username> on your system.

  • Now on your Micromax A57 go to Settings > Application > Development  and make sure USB Debugging is checked. It is a must for this process.
  • Now connect it to your PC using the data cable.
  • Go to the path where you copied the .android folder.
  • Now press SHIFT on your keyboard and keep it pressed and right click on the .android folder.
  • Click on Open command window here.

  • A Command Prompt window will pop up. Now type this is the command prompt.

adb devices

  • Press Enter. It will show Micromax A56. Do not panic. Your phone is Micromax A57. This is just happening due to an error that Micromax forgot to sort in Micromax A57′s build.prop.
  • Now open UnlockRoot and press the big green Root button.
  • For any pop ups just press Yes and let it complete.
  • Let the process complete and you will see that your phone will restart during the process.
  • After the restart just check if the SuperUser app is on your phone or not.
  • If you find an app named SuperUser then congrats your phone is rooted.

So this was a simple process to Root Micromax A57 Ninja 3.

    Hi.. Micromax A57 screen blacking out problem solved!!

    I rooted my Micromax A57 using above method, it perfectly worked.

    Just you have to install an extra app- Titanium backup and then start Super SU and give rooting permission to Titanium backup app.

    Then open Titanium backup app and you can uninstall system app….You should first backup an system app before uninstall it…

    But be careful…I just did that and i was completely screwed. My screen got blacked out, the mobile restarted twice and I couldn’t do anything. Only the notification bar was active. Then I pondered for 1 hour and got the app “notification toggle” form google play store. Connected the phone to system and installed the app. You can get access to every app through the notification bar. Just select Titanium Backup app and open it. Then restore all the system apps. The screen automatically comes again.

    So the caution is …..never uninstall system apps.

    Any Idea How can I root Micromax Ninja a54 ? Tired this tutorial as there was no other article in net which produced a bricked phone :p

    i think my micromax a 57 is rooted {it has superuser app also } but when i check in root checker it says my phone does not have proper root access ,is my phone rooted or not ??

    it’s not showing my device in cmd :( what do i do?? im trying from 3 hrs…im very keen on rooting my phone as it has a lot of crashing problems and the screen goes blank…help pleaseee

    After rooting uninstall the Music player. Find the APK and install again.

    Hey I have got mmx a57 n I wanted the original backup of the factory version of google play of it. By mistake I had deleted it wid titanium backup n when I installed it by downloading it by google it force closes everytime

    not working at all ..after typing adb devices .adb device is not recognized as an internal or external command.

        no dude its not working please help tell me specificaly.after downloading 2 programmes which you stated above.i go to c drive then user then gaurav then right click and shift on android.i opened programme files,typed adb devices in black window but following note get display

        adb is not recognised as internal or external command,operable programme or batch file.
        plz help
